Hello!

What a lovely adventure we had today! Nora and I (Lauren, staff from Arthur’s) went on a “Lock and Lunch” cruise down the Mississippi River. We sat inside the boat cabin looking out at St. Paul then traveled down the river for a scenic tour. We learned the history of the river while enjoying a delicious lunch. After our meal, we relaxed on the deck, soaked in the sun, listened to the live music, and waved at people on shore as we passed by. The weather was lovely. “Today was the perfect day for this!”, Nora exclaimed as we docked in. Here are some pictures of our adventure down the river. Enjoy!

Georgie and staff went to Linder’s Garden Center this morning, while there we walked around smelling flowers. Georgie was in a great mood talking a lot and laughing. She read a lot of the signs that we walked by as well. There was also a parrot that would say “hello” and Georgie talked back to it  We picked a floral arrangement to bring home as well. Then we went out to lunch at D’amico & Son’s. Georgie seemed to have a nice time and really enjoy her food. It was a fun time!

Hi Everyone,

Today Georgie enjoyed a visit to the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. She enjoyed a delicious meatloaf lunch on the 5th floor. After lunch, she enjoyed visiting the 9th floor observation area, where it was windows on all sides. Georgie enjoyed the views, but was cautious not to get too close to the windows-I didn’t blame her! Overall Georgie enjoyed the sites and views and was happy to be out. In the midst of all of the sightseeing, we forgot to take a picture, so hopefully Georgie can visit again soon and take a few! Talk to you soon,

Good Afternoon!

Georgie and I were in the mood to do some crafts. So we put our fingers to work and made some beautiful cards! Georgie was very interactive and helped pick out colors, designs, layouts, and putting glue on the paper. She thought the results were “pretty”. We had a lovely time together!

Hello all!

Today Georgie and I enjoyed a beautiful day at the park! We packed a picnic of ham sandwiches, chips, apples, and iced tea before we left! We sat down by the lake while we enjoyed our meal. Georgie seemed to really enjoy looking over the water and watching all the dogs run by on the sidewalk! Georgie also loved walking by all the flowers and enjoying their smell!

Hi,

Today was one of the nicest days yet of the summer (no humidity and about 65 degrees) and we decided to walk up to the park with Bob. Bob was calm and seemed to be relaxed throughout the walk and with flowers blooming hopefully enjoyed some of the smells of the walk.

When we reached the park, much to our chagrin, they were doing construction on the path so there was no where to stand or sit other than the parking lot. We headed back and are going to eat chili for lunch today. Thursday will be a good grill out day and we are planning on making hamburgers then.

Hello!
Nora and I drove out for a cappuccino at Caribou Coffee today to celebrate the beautiful day. She got a slice of lemon poppyseed bread, which she enjoyed immensely and asked the staff at Caribou for the recipe (in response they winked and told her it was a secret, which she thought was hilarious). Nora enjoyed walking around outside and expressed surprise at how nice out it was.

Hello!
Nora and I went out for a drive today and stopped at Culvers for a cold treat. She enjoyed “people watching” at Culvers and getting out for a walk when it was sunny. Luckily we got back in before the temperature dropped. She had all kinds of questions about the car and the places we saw, and enjoyed her strawberry sundae. The picture is from when we got back home and got out of the car.

Hello!

Today Nora joined Georgie and me for a game of Uno. We had a lot of fun playing. Nora won one of the games and had a great time playing a few draw four’s and draw two’s. After playing Uno Nora and I made some Chex Mix for the house to enjoy. It was a great afternoon! I hope that you have a wonderful day.

Hello all,

Georgie and I had a great adventure today! We decided to go over to Como Park and look at the lake and possibly take a walk if we weren’t too cold. When we got there we discovered that the Democratic Town Hall meeting for our district was going on today so we peeked at the meeting being held outside on the Pavillion. We felt very political, but decided it was too cold! The fresh air was very invigorating though and since we had some more time before we needed to be home we thought we would pick up a little treat at Cub for the house. We found some Spring-like mini cupcakes and we were on our way. Georgie and I had a wonderful time getting out of the house, driving around town, and enjoying the fresh air! Hope each of you has a wonderful weekend.
