Arthur’s White Pines is located in Roseville, Minnesota, on a beautiful 1 1/2 acre wooded lot surrounded by white pine and birch trees. It’s an elegant, upscale home, custom-designed in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright by one of his students. Set in a quiet residential neighborhood, just up the road there is a park and walking paths. You will absolutely forget that you are in Roseville!
There is a patio in the front which overlooks the meticulously landscaped front yard. While there isn’t a lot of traffic on the quiet residential circle-drive, some of our residents like to sit out here and watch the occasional car go by. There is usually a warm sunbeam available in the summer out front, and it’s a great place to soak up some heat. Some of our residents enjoyed gardening, and they can still continue to help out by planting or watering the planters on the patio. A flower lined, wheelchair accessible sidewalk makes access easy for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.
The deck in the back of the house also has seating for residents and their guests. Typically a shady spot, it
‘s a great place to watch all the wildlifeactivity in the back yard. You can relax and read a book and listen to the wind chime. There are also birds, squirrels, raccoons and even the occasional deer to entertain and delight all. The yard is full of life regardless of season. Ask one of our residents sometime what our favorite squirrel did with the dinner roll.
The summers on the back porch offer a secluded view of the tree tops, hidden from the neighbors. You’ll feel like you are up north at your cabin. We also do our grilling out there, and have a great time visiting as dinner sizzles over the coals. There is an accessible path to a lower patio as well, and for the sure-footed nature lovers, (maybe the visiting great-grandchildren?) there are walking paths down into the woods where adventure awaits!
