The Living Room at Arthur’s White Pines offers a pleasant place to socialize and share friendly conversation. The vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, and beautiful picture window views make for a very relaxing and welcoming environment. Add in a fire in the fireplace, a cup of hot cocoa, and a comfortable recliner to warm up a cold winter evening.
Sitting Area. A more intimate sitting area off the living room is a favorite place for one client to read his paper and listen to music. Another client chooses this place to read her Bible. It is a great place to sit and observe the activity of both the living room and the kitchen. Right off the deck overlooking the back yard, this well-lit spot has also been noted to induce naps quite nicely!
Kitchen. The kitchen, while it meets all the requirements for our Assisted Living, Class F License, is a beautiful showpiece. Our clients can access the kitchen anytime to get snacks, or to watch or help with meal preparation. A counter with tall chairs makes it an easy place to sit and visit or join in the activity.
Dining Room. The dining room is a place where all clients and staff eat together. Set with linens for every meal, it is a time to socialize and catch up on each other’s lives. Our meals have been prepared by a dietitian for high nutritional content and appeal. Everyone at the house has a say in what we have on the menu, and we are free to change it and add new favorites. As a person’s needs increase, the staff are available to assist at whatever level is required.
Maintenance: Arthur’s White Pines has the support of a team of maintenance staff who are available when needed. Any safety issues are addressed the same day.
Accessibility:The home is completely wheelchair accessible, with a lift and ramps for easy mobility as needs change.
